(60% semillon, 35% sauvignon blanc and 5% muscadelle) Pale yellow. Reticent, pure aromas of lemon drop, soft citrus fruits and minerals. Supple and sweet but youthfully inexpressive at first, this opened with air to show a lovely combination of silky richness and lift, with complex flavors of orange peel, honey, herbs and earth. Comes across as a bit less sharply delineated than the 2005 at the same stage but this is very young. Very long on the aftertaste.
