Raymond was born in Shanghai during the Second World War. Upon obtaining his Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering in Lausanne, Switzerland, he managed computer centres for several years before moving to Hong Kong in 1971 to join the family business. He has been Chairman and Managing Director of Omtis Limited since the late 70s. With his wife Nicette, who became a Director in charge of Property, Finance and Philanthropy, they adapted the Group to an ever-changing environment through restructuring, diversification and abandoning the original core activities in luxury watches and jewellery. Raymond had a passion for wine since his years as a student, which developed into the vision for Omtis Fine Wines to become Asia’s premier source for fine wine, earning him the honour of being awarded the distinction of “Officier du Mérite Agricole” by the French Government. Two of their children, Philippe and Diane, have joined the Group in positions of responsibility, thus ensuring its future development.

Diane was born in Geneva and raised in Hong Kong. She earned her degree in Economics from the University of Bristol, studied Chinese in Taiwan, then qualified as a Chartered Financial Advisor and obtained her STEP diploma in International Trust Management, while working full time at the Credit Suisse bank for fifteen years. After reaching directorate level, she left the bank, and later became engaged in the Omtis investment business as Group Financial Advisor.
