The role requires active business and sales development, including but not limited to digital channels, brokerage, industry-specific accounts, region-specific client groups, project-driven opportunities and events. The candidate will be required to develop business, and execute sales and marketing strategies on both individual and team-driven basis. The goal of these activities is to positively contribute to the growth of our business and exceed targets in a team environment while demonstrating honesty, integrity, and due diligence in line with our corporate image.

Responsibilities

The role shall be responsible for:

  • Client, market, and channel analysis and segmentation
  • Digital channels (online platforms, social media and digital marketing)
  • Presentation, proposal, offer, price list, portfolio and tender preparations
  • Handling enquiries, follow-up, and relationship management
  • Sales, business and client development (trade, private and corporate clients) on both individual and team-driven basis
  • Supporting Team head and other team members and liaising with other operational areas of the business
  • Brokage activities, clients’ consignment, storage and other value-added service
  • Hosting events including speaking engagements at events.
  • Other ad-hoc projects assigned from time to time

Qualifications

  • Degree/Certificate holder in Business, Marketing, or related disciplines
  • A minimum of WSET Level 2 or equivalent wine related qualification.
  • Experience in business development, sales or client management in the wine industry
  • IT savvy with considerable knowledge of Microsoft Office and preferably with online sales and marketing experience
  • Good product knowledge with passion for wine
  • Strong social skills, organization, and presentation skills; ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal in English and Chinese.
  • Excellent implementation and account management skills with commercial sense and business acumen to drive business
  • Flexible, process oriented, self-motivated, willing to learn, independent while being a strong multifaceted team player.
