Chateau d’Issan is one of most ancient estates in Bordeaux, which can be traced back to 12th century. The Issan style is "magical elegance, with qualitative and precise tannin texture" and being true to the terroir of the Clos. Jane Anson of Decanter has once described Issan as "complex, nuanced and full of signature floral, blackberry and soft tobacco notes. wines are concentrated and surprising in their intensity."

In this March, we are honoured to welcome Mr. Emmanuel Cruse, Owner of Chateau d'Issan, who will guide you through a prestigious tasting journey. The evening will spotlight highly acclaimed vintages, alongside selections from the estate's 90+pts 2nd and 3rd wines:

  • Rare and mature Chateau d’Issan 2000Decanter 94 pts
  • Refined Chateau d’Issan 2016 James Suckling 97 pts
  • Outstanding Chateau d’Issan 2022James Suckling 98 pts, also awarded Wine of the Year 2025 by James Suckling

Each pour will be exquisitely complemented by a bespoke menu crafted by Ming Pavilion at Island Shangri-La, renowned for its premium Hokkien cuisine, designed to elevate and highlight the profound depth and distinctive character of Issan’s wines.
