The 2020 Bourgogne Les Hautes Côte de Nuits has a straightforward, slightly dour nose that just needs a pep up. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins, pleasant and quite pure, brambly red fruit with a pretty finish. Just give it 12-18 months in bottle for the aromatics to open.
