(a 90/10 blend of merlot and cabernet franc) Dark red. Currant, musky herbs, medicinal licorice and a whiff of black olive on the nose. Supple, sweet and easygoing, with a lightly herbal quality and good energy to the redcurrant and tobacco flavors. Finishes with dusty tannins and moderate persistence.
