The 2021 Brane-Cantenac Blanc exhibits a remarkably intense and complex nose, with energy and structure, and great finesse when stirred in the glass. The richness of the 2021 vintage is unmistakable: subtle nuances of candied lemon, blood orange, cinnamon, new leather, and spice meld and balance beautifully. On the palate, the sensation of velvety tannins makes the wine alluring and sumptuous, very aromatic with a beautiful and long finish. The retro-olfaction reveals delicate nuances of pear with great freshness. There is much to anticipate.

The 2021 Brane-Cantenac Blanc is a tasty, open-knit Sauvignon Blanc/Sémillon blend. Lemon peel, graphite, slate, white pepper and bright mineral notes all grace this gracious, impeccable dry white. All this needs is a bit more mid-palate depth, but that should come as the vines age.
