The 2018 Saint-Aubin Village actually comprises mainly Premier Crus although it is a Village due to the addition of a few barrels from that classification. The bouquet is missing a little complexity, refusing to show the terroir expression that I have discerned from other addresses. The palate is better, offering mandarin, peach and tangerine notes, but it needs more energy and <em>nervosité</em> toward the slightly nondescript finish.
