The 2021 Chablis Vaudésir Grand Cru has a decent nose compared to some of the early-bottled Grand Crus, pressed white flowers emerging in the glass, but lacking a bit of vim and vigour. The palate is balanced with tangerine and tinned apricot notes, fine acidity, though it lacks a bit of complexity on the finish and pulls up a bit short. Tasted blind at the BIVB tasting in Chablis.
