Chateau Petit-Village 2016 has a beautiful dark purple colour. The intense nose presents the notes of blackberry and violet that are characteristic of the Pomerol appellation. The palate is round and powerful, presenting great tannic structure. The finish is long and ends with a spicy note.

The 2016 Petit-Village has blossomed into a striking wine. Perfumed, silky and sensual, with notable aromatic lift, the 2016 is absolutely gorgeous. The 2016 has found a measure of finesse and overall harmony during élevage that it did not show from barrel. Pretty floral notes add the closing flourish to this impeccable Pomerol from Petit-Village. Diana Berrouet-Garcia has done a terrific job with the 2016.
