Chateau Ducru Beaucaillou

Ducru Beaucaillou has long been a quintessential symbol of Saint Julien, a leading Super Second, and clearly a wine of first growth quality.

What is also interesting is the man behind it - Mr. Bruno Borie, a passionate owner with great personality and good sense of humour, as well as a great chef! Being the 3rd generation of the Bories running the Estate, he has put tremendous effort on analyzing and selecting top sites of the vineyards, and shaping Ducru Beaucaillou into what it is today. One of his projects is to recondition his back vintage library collections at the Chateau; all the bottles were relabelled authenticating the provenance and stating the year of recork.
