A blend of two parcels, the 2021 Volnay Village has a straightforward, again, airy bouquet with wild red berry fruit and a hint of rose petal. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, taut and fresh, with a welcome touch of spice that fills out the finish. Very fine.
