It is a wine of great finesse and elegance. It displays a pure and bright colour with light glints of white gold. The nose is enticing with aromas of southern white fruits, such as vine peaches and white peaches, complemented by pleasant notes of wood. This charming Meursault offers a sensual palate, both concentrated and relaxed, with a well-rounded profile that is not overly so. The fruit flavours are prominent, filling the cheeks before gently stretching out. The wine finishes long and persistent, with an exceptional wealth of floral and fruity flavours.

The 2020 Meursault Clos du Cromin has a well-defined nose, quite straightforward, with scents of grilled walnut and touches of almond. Delicate, precise. The palate is quite fresh with orange rind notes on the entry. I appreciate the tension and focus here. There is not immense depth or matière, but there is pleasing freshness and sense of energy on the finish. Worth seeking out.
