Peppery nose, liquorice, ripe black fruits and peony scents, sprinkled with fine cocoa notes. Black chocolate and cherry aromas, juicy carried by a good acidity. Savory texture, round tannins, wide and concentrated mouth melting into spices. Beautiful length and richness that augurs you a good ageing potential.

The 2018 Haut-Brisson is a very pretty wine. Rich, ample and so inviting, the 2018 is a terrific choice for drinking now and over the next decade or so. Black cherry, mocha, spice, menthol and licorice build in a creamy, racy Saint-Émilion loaded with charm. The only issue with the 2018 is a slightly drying, vegetal note on the finish.
