Chateau L'Evangile

We are into the 12th episode of our weekly eTasting, finally we are bringing you to Pomerol, an appellation that embodies top quality artisan producers including the biggest names in Bordeaux. Known as the “Upper-Pomerol First Growth Wine” also being one of the oldest estates in Pomerol, Chateau L'Evangile, under Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite), has a history of producing great wines all along. Baron Eric de Rothschild even described it as “a unique terroir, irresistible, very different from the Medoc but absolutely outstanding.”

The wines of L'Evangile are described in an old edition of “Grand Vins de Bordeaux”, as “full-bodied and elegant, with incomparable finesse”.
